About Portland Textile Month
The goal of the first Textile Month is to bring together the Portland textile community for a month long series of learning, sharing, events/celebrations, and cross pollination among enthusiasts, artists, businesses and institutions. We hope to provide an open platform to engage and share ideas, history, knowledge, experiences, practices across cultures, viewpoints and generations. We draw our inspiration from Textile Month in New York City and Design Week Portland.
