Historic Mt Tabor Walking Tour
Before the electric streetcar made most of the east side of the Willamette River available for residential development, Mt Tabor was mostly farms, orchards and forest. In the early decades of the 20th century this neighborhood was built up with a blend of spacious and elegant Craftsman and Colonial Revival residences. On this tour we’ll explore the historic residential fabric on the west slope of the iconic Mt Tabor.
This tour will run about 2 hours and covers less than two miles, but does include some hilly urban terrain.
We’ll meet at a local restaurant after the tour for optional social time with food and beverage.
The fee for this narrated tour is $15. You may pay by check, cash or credit card at the start of the tour. You may also use PayPal by following this link: http://bit.ly/22q0waD
